@mswengel and @VuNamDuy, this app is developed in Vala, macOS and Windows do not support Vala, unless you have to use XQuartz, compile in macports or Homebrew if you are a macOS user.
In the topic at his repository, Akira developer has already said he will not develop for macOS.
The Akira developer owns a Mac, but I think he will not be interested in developing an app in closed-source languages of Apple. Apple is extremely closed-source. To develop an with identifier, you will have to pay 100 dollars yearly to Apple for getting an ID certificate for the app, so it can be accepted by Gatekeeper of Apple and unlocked by Apple.
No need to develop Akira for macOS, so there are already Affinity and Sketch. Windows has already Affinity.
The most of macOS users hate GTK-built and Vala-built apps requiring XQuartz. At MacUpdate, they insulted a lot Gimp and Inkscape. For them, they are Windows. They hate apps which are not written in pure Apple. They are narcissistic and perfectionist and want perfect apps .
