How to clip/cut a Transparent hole in an image

Hey all, I am new to Gravit designer and design programs in general. I am wanting to cut out an image which i am doing fine. I draw the path and cut it etc and can export it all well. But I want to cut out sections inside the image and make them transparent. Is there a way to do that? is there a way to make the path an inside boundary instead of an outer boundary of the image?

I gave up a year ago now I actually need to be able to do this

Ok great i got it, ended up being a clip cut i had on the outside of the image was filling in the void space i was making on the inside of the image… i had to go to color fill on the layer and make it transparent and it took care of my issue…
