is there any panel in use for/or tool white instruction about beeld-marks and crop-marks en how many mm is there in space, so what is the bleed normally and when you see the canvas-size or the artwork size. Please help me, what is normally in use when working in Gravit … cheers Peter…
Hi there, you can define page settings like bleed and page size on the right panel, when no elements are selected on the canvas. Currently Gravit doesn’t have crop marks, but this improvement is already on our Roadmap:
Hallo Claudia, I have seen it, nice, thank you, but now the nex-step. For the best results, you Export the document as PDF and that is incl the bleed and crops marks fot th bleed … cheers Peter
Yes, you will be able to see the bleed on the exported PDF. As for crop marks, unfortunately Gravit still doesn’t have this feature. although it’s already on our Roadmap.
thanks, Claudia for explaining the possibility, Well at this moment the last question about Gravit. for import an image in the open Gravit-document. Normally the image is an RGB/CMYK document in JPG/JPG2000 … but for reproduction isn’t better (graphic-people) to work with EPS-documents(CMYK). So … to choose what to do is better Claudia, cheers Peter
Why in the 21st century are we required to export to EPS? Not everybody owns BAdobe software. How old-fashioned designers! The Linux designers will hate it. Now PDF and SVG rule.
@Iljitzj1950 Currently it’s not possible tio set the whole document to CMYK, but you can set each color to this mode:
You can export to PDF or SVG for now, but EPS export is actually on our plans too.
@GustavoReis please be nicer to the other users. Everyone is entitled to their opinion here.
I suppose while this topic is open… it’d also make sense to have a “Registration” colour added to the swatches?
